Qld Government recommends the approval of the huge Winchester South coal mine

The Queensland Government is set to approve an enormous new coal mine in the Bowen Basin.

It will also produce more greenhouse gas emissions that we really can’t afford if we are to have a safe climate future.

Join us in a call for climate action

Our koalas, our reef and our future needs protection from the impacts of climate change.

The most important action government can take is to stop approving new and expanding fossil fuel developments.

Join us for an afternoon gathering and help to send a strong message to government. “Stop approving new coal and gas projects”.

There will be Move Beyond Coal actions across Australia to coincide with the global climate discussions happening in Dubai (otherwise known as COP28).
