EnvA has called on the Federal Environment Minister to ensure public submissions on the proposed Peak Downs Mine Power Line Realignment Project are properly assessed.
EnvA calls for rejection of Saraji Mine extension over threats to wildlife, water and climate
EnvA has urged the Federal Environment Minister to refuse the proposed Saraji Mine Grevillea Pit Continuation Project, warning it would cause further destruction of threatened species habitat, increased pollution risks to waterways in the Great Barrier Reef catchment, cumulative groundwater impacts, and decades of additional greenhouse gas emissions.

Stanmore Resources has applied to the Queensland Government for an expansion of its South Walker Creek Coal Mine, located 40km west of Nebo. The proposal includes further coal exploration and the development of a coal seam gas collection facility.
Vulcan South coal mine approved despite the proponent under criminal investigation
The final approval of Queensland Coking Coal’s Vulcan South Mine has been confirmed.
The approval allows for over 1100ha of koala, greater glider and squatter pigeon habitat.
