  • Qld Government recommends the approval of the huge Winchester South coal mine

    The Queensland Government is set to approve an enormous new coal mine in the Bowen Basin. The mine covers more than 2000ha including increasingly important threatened species habitat. It will also produce more greenhouse gas emissions that we really can’t afford if we are to have a safe climate future.
